We have assembled a team of consultants who are capable of addressing the complex issues and meeting the City’s expectations for this project. Each team member has a local office within Ventura County which will facilitate their involvement in the project from preliminary design through construction and start-up. A brief summary of the team members’ roles is as follows:

• Kennedy/Jenks Consultants serves as the prime consultant on this project and is responsible for project management, sewer design and permitting.
  
  
• Malcolm Pirnie provides design services related to the pump stations and provides additional quality control on the sewer design.
  
  
• Penfield & Smith provides surveying services and develops traffic control plans to minimize traffic impacts.
  
  
• Padre Associates performs geotechnical evaluations, determines available dewatering options, assists in environmental documentation, and provides recommendations for handling and disposing of contaminated groundwater and soil (if needed).
  
  
• JVW Communications provides outreach services to inform the public of the needs and benefits of the project and manages resident feedback/comments during construction.
  
  

The team has significant experience in a wide variety of both sewer and pump station projects that is being brought to bear in the execution of this project. Members of our project team have also successfully collaborated with the City of Oxnard to execute other projects, such as the GREAT Program and Blending Station No. 3 (Water Division) and the Influent and Effluent Pump Station Improvement Projects (Wastewater Division). This knowledge is used to affect the orderly construction of the Redwood Trunk Sewer Project while facilitating the future installation of other infrastructure.
